PPA Client Kyowa Kirin Receive Positive Recommendation for Crysvita

A massive congratulations to Precision Public Affairs client Kyowa Kirin Asia Pacific and Simon Dawson and the Australian KK team for receiving a positive recommendation from the May PBAC meeting for Crysvita, treating X-linked hypophosphataemia (XLH).

This is a momentous step forward for the XLH community, including Sandy Bevc and Naomi Ford, who have been waiting 40 years for access to a new treatment option.

XLH is a rare genetic and progressive disease usually diagnosed in childhood. It depletes the body of the mineral phosphate to affect multiple systems across the body including bones, muscles, joints, teeth and hearing.
